Random Cool Thing: Scott Stapp and the Marlins

I normally do a rating on fridays but I came across this last night and it was way too funny not to say something about.

I'd like to thank Phil for commenting on the video via Facebook or else I probably would have never caught this masterpiece.

So apparently Scott Stapp and his only slightly less cool best buddy, Jesus, dig the Marlins.  Enough so that they decided to make this little ditty.  Now I know what you're thinking, "The Marlins?  Really?".  But yes.  Just see here...

Of course the songwriting is brilliant (Everyone knows that "faith and love" are the two most important fundamentals that make a winning team) and Stapp's voice is blessed by angels.  What I don't understand is why so many Marlins "fans" hate it.

First off, I'm not totally sold that there are any Marlins fans.  But if there is one, you would think he/she would be thrilled that Scott Stapp is putting it out there that he also like the Marlins.  Now there can be two people at their games to cheer them on!

One last thing.  Partly assisted by the title, it is a little tough to decipher what Stapp is growling.  It does sound like "You will suck."  but supposedly he is actually saying "You will soar."  I don't know, supposedly.
